Ventura Tsunami, I just red LA Times Blog, National Weather Service reported that in Santa Monica the surge is 2.2-foot and in Venture there was 3-foot surge. And also a report from Sheriff Department of Ventura Country; the damage is so minor, only number of buoys were damaged and other washed away in Ventura Harbor.

People near of the area visited the nearest beach to witness the surge, albeit it’s not easy to detect the wave, yet people wereenthusiastic (They are brave people, if I were them, I would not do such thing)

Fortunately, the damage was insignificant in Southern California.

The warning for people to stay off beaches because the tsunami is not given yet, as there is no possibility found that the wave to rise more than 3 feet according Los Angeles County Fire Officials. This is because the surges came during low tide, thus it’s reducing the chances of problems.

The tsunami advisory is in effect after Chile Earthquake which hit Concepcion, 200 miles southwest of Santiago, US Geological Survey said.

And according to The Signal(http://www.the-signal.com/news/article/25296/)
