Pat Haden, USC's New AD, Replaces Mike Garrett

The Trojans' under attack AD will be replace next month by Pat Haden, who is firm to build an ethical program listening carefully on playing within the rules while USC recover from last month's NCAA sanction.

Athletic director Mike Garrett and Reggie Bush's Heisman Trophy are the first two things to go.

LOS ANGELES — Southern California is clean-up house in its tarnished athletic department, throw out much of what got the school in severe NCAA difficulty.

Incoming USC president Max Nikias says the school will come back its copy of Bush's trophy to the Heisman Trust. Haden says it's all part of the NCAA's instruction for USC to disassociate itself from the New Orleans Saints star.
