The convict killer of a 15-year-old Riverside girl in 1980 will be execute next week after the command prolong the date of his sentence was lifted by the Riverside County Superior Court.
After the murder, Brown called Susan’s parents and told them they would never see their daughter alive again, and that they could find her in that orange grove.
In 1982, Brown was convict in Riverside County of Susan’s rape and murder and sentence to death. All of his state and central appeal have now been exhausted.
Last month, a Riverside County Superior Court judge ordered Brown to be executed on September 29, 2010.
“This is a murderer who never claim virtue and who has now exhausted all his appellate rights in an enormously terrible case. There is no reason for his execution to be further delayed,” said Riverside County District Attorney Rod Pacheco.
