Hosting a Sip and See -  Sip-and-see parties are basically casual, open-house baby showers held after the child is born.

My babies were born before this trend really took off, but I can see the benefits. Friends and family often want to share their love and support after a birth and, of course, get a peek at the newborn. But sometimes they don't know whether it's OK to visit the hospital or whether stopping by to see the new parents later at home will disrupt the baby's routine.
