Steve Nash Announces Divorce from Wife Alejandra: The Day After Son is Born:More often than not after a couple is blessed with a couple they celebrate in a variety of ways, but Steve Nash, he did it in a very unique way. He announced that he and his wife of five years – Alejandra Nash – would be getting a divorce.
On Friday the NBA Phoenix Suns’ point guard’s welcomed son Matteo Joel Nash. This was the third child for Alejandra and Steve, they also have twin girls named Lola and Bella.  He talked about this “bittersweet moment” in a statement saying:
“I am very thankful and excited that we have a new son, Matteo Nash. Alejandra and the baby are doing fine.But this is a bittersweet moment for my wife and I; after five years, we are now in the process of dissolving our marriage. While we have lived separately for the past several months, we remain firmly committed to raising our children in the most positive, nurturing way possible. I want only good things for all going forward; right now, I’m focused on ensuring that our children understand how much they’re loved and adored by us as they continue to adjust to these changes. I would ask that their privacy, and ours as a family, be respected as we move forward. This will be my only statement on this.”
Wow. There really must have been some issues in their marriage if they couldn’t bond and be together to welcome their new child.

Robert Louis Stevenson Quotes: I can understand that fans of Robert Louis Stevenson would want to download an app with his complete works; such as the one we mentioned this morning for Android. However, I was completely surprised with the app available on iTunes  that is full of the writer’s quotes.

This application has a large number of quotes from Stevenson, so whenever you want to make yourself happy, just open the app and pull out a quote at random. I hope you can sense the sarcasms there?

You have to love how Brighthouse Labs describes the app on iTunes, by saying that you can enjoy “Robert Louis Stevenson quotes while you’re on the go.” I just cannot seem to get my head around this one, there seems to be no purpose to it.

That’s not the worst part, they want $1.99 for this, and there have not been any updates in 11 months. I am all for celebrating the life of Robert like Google has done – as it would have been his 160th birthday today – so choose the Android app that we previously mentioned instead.

Steve Holcomb that underwent an eye surgery following Keratoconus diagnosis in 2009 was part of 4-man Team USA in the bobsled event. The team won first gold medal in bobsled for the United States on Saturday courtesy Steve Holcomb and it took them more than 6 decades for the US to do so.
It was way back in the year 1948 that a United States’ bobsled 4-man team last brought home a gold medal in the Olympics competitions. American bobsledder since 1998 Steven “Steve” Holcomb alongside his three longtime companions proudly stood on the medal podium at 2010 Olympics. All four men made the Saturday night memorable for the United States at the Vancouver with their steady ride to Night train bobsled.
Even the NBC broadcasters were enthusiastic to announce that finally after 62 long years; the Americans were able to seek pride. Holcomb was accompanied by USA1 riders namely Justin Olsen, Curt Tomasevicz and Steve Mesler and the Night Train team stunned the audiences and their competitors by an impressive final four-run 3:24.46 combined time, being the fastest in three first runs though, but the same was the only fastest third while in the final trip.

The Germans followed the US riders very closely and with the difference only .38, they deserved a silver medal for their brilliant effort. Steve made his last appearance in the Olympic competitions and he was considered favorite among all for a gold medal. Two-time winner of two-man bobsled event is also a Salt Lake City and Torino Winter Games competition-winner while in 2002 and 2006, respectively. The bronze medal went to the home team as the Canadian pilot Lyndon rush and his three companions missed a chance to grab silver extremely closely.
With a vision as limited as 20/20 since his eye surgery, Steve’s success in terms of picking a gold medal while at Olympic event wasn’t anything but a miracle. His degenerated eye disease nearly turned him blind thus forcing him undergoing corrective eye surgery.
