The Wizard of Oz Gets Google Doodled on 71st Birthday

The Wizard of OzGoogle, which from time to time entertain its visitors with good looking doodle, today made The Wizard of Oz as its doodle, celebrating the show's 71st anniversary.
all time Google wants to make a celebration or a acknowledgment to something it changes the logo on its homepage. This change is called Doodle. Today it celebrates The Wizard of Oz with a scene from the film when Dorothy, the lion and the Home Lata first see the capital of the Land of Oz - the Emerald City. The google logo can be seen in the background.
The Wizard of Oz is a musical produced by Metro Goldwyn Mayer, which featured performances by Judy Garland and Frank Morgan, among others. Critics consider it as a cult film. in 1995 Walt Disney World made a return to the musical making the Return to Oz. While it became a party classic it did defectively with critic and the box office.
The movie's 70th anniversary was celebrated last year in 2009. On September 1 a special box contain 4 discs in Blu-ray format with a 16 hour of commentary and documentaries was released. It also included books and remembrance watch. There were only 240,000 unites of this edition put on sale worldwide.

It was 71 years ago today, that people first got to watch the all-time classic musical fantasy film “The Wizard of Oz” and people from all over the world have been enjoying it ever since. The movie starred Judy Garland (who played Dorothy), Jack Haley, Ray Bolger and Bert Lahr.
