DJ Cipha Sounds Suspended - After comments directed toward the Haitian community and the HIV epidemic, Hot 97 has decided to suspend popular on-air personality DJ Cipha Sounds effective immediately. Second, Cipha will immediately undertake sensitivity training focused on the Haitian community and specifically, the challenges the Haitian community (specifically women) has faced in terms of the HIV epidemic.
