Colt Brennan injured

Colt Brennan injured: Former University of Hawaii quarterback Colt Brennan and two women were seriously injured in a two-car crash on Hawaii's Big Island.

Brennan's agent, Ryan Tollner, issued a statement saying Brennan was transported to Honolulu for further medical treatment after being taken to Kona Community Hospital on Friday. Tollner said Brennan's condition was serious.

His father, Terry Brennan, told KHON-TV by telephone from California that he suffered three or four broken ribs, a broken left collar bone, and head injuries.

Colt Brennan was drafted by the Washington Redskins in the sixth round (186th overall) of the 2008 NFL Draft. Colt Brennan was the 10th quarterback selected that year.

Team USA Men's Olympic Hockey Semifinals Game Update

The miracle could happen again as Team USA men's hockey team won its semifinal game vs. Finland by a huge margin of 6-1. The men's olympic hockey win by USA puts them in the finals for the gold medal game on Sunday night from Vancouver.



(Media-Newswire.com) - The miracle could happen again as Team USA men's hockey team won its semifinal game vs. Finland by a huge margin of 6-1. The men's olympic hockey win by USA puts them in the finals for the gold medal game on Sunday night from Vancouver.

Team USA jumped out to a stunning four goal lead in the first period. Finland's goalie Miikka Kiprusoff was caught off guard out of the net when his pass was intercepted by Team USA's Ryan Malone who scored. Three more goals and Team USA was on their way to victory.

Their opponent in the final has not been determined yet but will be either Canada or Slovakia who are playing each other now. The Americans have already beat Team Canada last Sunday night by a score of 5-3. Goalie Ryan Miller has been extraordinary in goal for Team USA.

Miikka Kiprusoff left after giving up four goals on seven shots in only roughly ten minutes in the first period. By then the game was theoretically over.

The Canada vs. Slovakia game is set to start at 6:30 PM local Vancouver time.
