Tonya Harding is Olympic skating champion - Former Olympic skating champion Tonya Harding is expecting her first child with husband Joseph Price. The two are expecting a baby boy.

Tonya Harding's reputation plummeted when her ex-husband conspired to attack Tonya's skating competitor Nancy Kerrigan at a practice session during the 1994 US Figure Skating Championships. After an investigation into the assault, in which Ms Kerrigan was clubbed in the knee, Harding received three years' probation, 500 hours of community service and a $160,000 fine. As part of the plea bargain, she was also forced to withdraw from the championships.

Since then Tonya Harding became a regular commentator on truTV's 'The Smoking Gun Presents: World's Dumbest".

Trick Shot Video of Johnny Mcentee - Johnny McEntee meets a sophomore quarterback for the UConn Huskies who, as far as we can tell, has yet to attempt a pass in a Division I football game. Here is a video outline of what he can do:

It is impossible not to find amazing to love about this video. McEntee's clear complacency is completely delightful, and the elaborate relaxed attitude with which his teammates make cameos is a total hoot. For our money, the best shots are the William Tell (the kid he's throwing at doesn't even flinch, which tells you a lot about how often he misses), the mid-air attack on the Domino's delivery guy, the ball-out-the-air field goal, and the seated basketball shots. Oh, and McEntee's victory dance. Don't miss that.

Bonus trivia: According to sources in our UConn community, McEntee used to date Lady Huskies basketballer Caroline Doty, no stranger herself to trick shots. What're they putting in the water up in Storrs?

Wilde and Ruspoli, an Italian prince, eloped when the actress was only 18 years old.

J. Paul "Aileen" Getty Balthazar III Dies

J. Paul "Aileen" Getty Balthazar III Dies - J. Paul Getty III Dies at 54 and born into one of the world's richest oil families, was a kidnap victim at 16. J. Paul Getty III grandson of American oil magnate J. Paul Getty, died Saturday in Buckinghamshire, England, at the age of 54. In 1973, Getty was abducted by the mafia, from a piazza in Rome. When his grandfather refused to send the requested ransom, Getty's kidnappers severed his right ear. He was released after four months in captivity. Perhaps the most disturbing part of the story: Getty's grandfather eventually ponied up a portion of the ransom and charged his son — J. Paul Getty II — interest for the remainder of the ransom.

A decade after the kidnapping, Getty fell into drugs and alcohol addiction, and suffered an incapacitating drug-induced stroke. His died Saturday after a long illness, and is survived by his two children, one of whom is actor Balthazar Getty.

Watch Silva vs. Belfort Fight - Super Saturday has often served as the staging ground for significant fights between high-profile UFC stars. Jonathan Chaimberg: I think the matchup is a great one for Silva. It’s one of the first fights for him in a while where he can focus on his creative striking game and not worry about being taken down or out-grappled; that is key. Vitor’s cage rust will also be a factor. Look for fireworks early and Anderson winning early in the second round.

Anderson Cooper is Attacked in Egypt - Anderson Cooper got up close and personal with the political upheaval in Egypt this week. A bit too up close and personal, it turns out.

While reporting from Cairo - where demonstrators loyal to embattled President Hosni Mubarak were protesting - Cooper and his camera crew were "pushed and shoved and punched in the head" by attackers, CNN reports.

Anderson Cooper and his CNN news crew claim they were punched, kicked and shoved by a violent mob of pro-Mubarak supporters in Cairo early this morning.

Cooper claims he and his team were trying to get to a spot in between the two sides of protesters in Tahrir Square -- when they were attacked.

Cooper claims the mob tried to break his team's camera -- because they didn't want to be on film -- when the violence escalated and men began to punch members of the news crew in the head.
Anderson explained, "The instinct is try to punch back ... but in a situation like that you really can't because that just inflames the crowd all the more ... so all we could do is just try to walk as quickly as possible, stay together and seek a safe location which is where we are now."

Monument of Georgia Guidestones - The Georgia Guidestones is a large granite monument in Elbert County, Georgia, USA. A message comprising ten guides is inscribed on the structure in eight modern languages, and a shorter message is inscribed at the top of the structure in four ancient languages' scripts: Babylonian, Classical Greek, Sanskrit, and Egyptian hieroglyphs.

The structure is sometimes referred to as an "American Stonehenge."[1] The monument is almost 20 feet (6.1 m) tall if the buried support stones are included, exactly 18 feet (5.5 m) otherwise[2], and made from six granite slabs weighing more than 240,000 pounds (110,000 kg) in all.[3] One slab stands in the center, with four arranged around it. A capstone lies on top of the five slabs, which are astronomically aligned. An additional stone tablet, which is set in the ground a short distance to the west of the structure, provides some notes on the history and purpose of the Guidestones. In June 1979, an unknown person or persons under the pseudonym R. C. Christian hired Elberton Granite Finishing Company to build the structure.[3] One popular hypothesis is that the patron's pseudonym may be a tribute to the legendary 17th-century founder of Rosicrucianism, Christian Rosenkreuz.

Kim Zolciak is Pregnant - Sources are reporting that the buxom blonde is engaged to her boyfriend of six months, Atlanta Falcons star Kroy Biermann.

The couple, who announced Kim's pregnancy to Life & Style last week, have been dating since May, when they met at a celebrity dance competition in Atlanta.

Despite Kim's pregnancy, the pair are in no rush to the altar. "I definitely don't want to get married while I'm pregnant," she told Life & Style. "But I can see myself marrying Kroy in the future."

A source tells Radar that Zolciak was hoping to announce her engagement in a major publication, but couldn't keep the good news to herself. "They are both really happy about both the baby and their engagement and cannot wait to start their new lives together."

The source also notes that Biermann, 25, bought Zolciak a "substantial" ring, although she isn't wearing it in public yet. Kim's last knuckle-duster came on behalf of her former fiance, Big Poppa, who was still married to his wife when he proposed.

Regardless of her past relationship troubles, the 'RHOA' star is reportedly looking forward to her life with Biermann as well as becoming a mother again. "While it wasn't planned, God clearly has a bigger and better plan for us and we're excited," she said.

But if that’s all she’s got, she knows how to work it.

After Playboy recently released a series of photos showing Kardashian semi-nude from a 2007 photo shoot, reports claimed she regretted posing.

Try to Remember Alex Brown - Hidden behind the In$ider paywall because they must not want to get too much traffic, is Mel Kiper's re-draft of the 2005 NFL Draft. Without a doubt few teams could benefit more from jumping in the WayBack Machine and getting a do-over on that one than the St. Louis Rams. You'll recall that's the draft when they selected OT Alex Barron with the 19th overall pick.

Kiper gives the Rams OG Logan Makins, who the Patriots actually selected with the last pick of the first round. No doubt that would have been a better pick than Barron; the Rams still had Orlando Pace at that point. However, the Rams did actually draft a pretty good guard that year taking Richie Incognito in the third round. It's just that Richie had his own problems, and was finally released late in 2009.

The Rams could have done themselves a favor by selecting TE Heath Miller, WR Roddy White (though they had Holt and Bruce at the time), DE Justin Tuck (who went the third round) or even Aaron Rodgers, who was available when the Rams made their pick (they had Bulger who was fine at the time though).

As bad as that draft was, at least the Rams did manage to get Ron Bartell and Oshiomogho Atogwe, who have since become the backbone of the secondary. And that year's draft paled in comparison to the flop that came the following April.

Ah, hindsight. Maybe the Rams will try to acquire Mankins in free agency this year.

According to the announced list of NFL football players who got included in the 2011 Pro Bowl roster,New England Patriots got the most number of selections in the AFC with 8 football players. In the NFC, Atlanta Falcons got the most number with 9 players.

Academy Award Oscar Nominations Performance by an actress in a leading role 2011 - This morning, Tuesday January 25th, the official nominations for the 83rd Academy Awards are to be announced live. The 2011 Oscar presentation will take place Sunday, February 27, 2011, hosted by none other than two of the year’s most prolific young stars in James Franco (127 Hours) and Anne Hathaway (Love and Other Drugs).

While last year saw the expansion of the contentious Best Picture category grow to 10 nominees after a year of major snubs, to help bring in mainstream viewership and ratings, this Oscar presentation sees its big change with the Special Effects category expanding from three to five nods.

Oprah's Brother Jeffrey - The secret's out! Oprah's been teasing viewers since last week about today's episode where she will be reunited with someone very important to her. The teaser always hinted toward a family member of some kind, but is that actually it?

Read on for the semi-shocking spoiler if you just can't wait til 4p ET....

And Oprah's BIG reveal is...

She has a long lost half-sister who was given up for adoption shortly after her birth.

The sibling's name is Patricia, who reportedly was given up for adoption by Oprah's mother, Vernita Lee, shortly after her birth in 1963.

Interestingly, Oprah has 2 other younger siblings who died--one ALSO named Patricia and a brother named Jeffrey. According to USA Today:

USA TODAY's Judy Keen reports from Chicago that Patricia - whose last name was not revealed - lived in foster homes until she was 7, including some that were "not so good," she said on Monday's Oprah Winfrey Show.

Patricia said she always hoped her birth mother would return for her. By 17, she was a single mother. She has two grown children, a daughter and son.

"Oh my God, I have a family" was her reaction when she found out she had three siblings, Patricia said. One of those siblings, the only one still alive, was Winfrey.

Just before Thanksgiving, Winfrey said, she was told "a bombshell family secret." The story would have become public and been "exploited" eventually, Winfrey said, "so I wanted you to hear it from me first."

"Patricia is my half-sister who I never knew existed," Winfrey said.

Winfrey said she had no idea her mother had given up a baby when she was 9 and living with her father Vernon Winfrey in Nashville.

Wow. And how did Patricia figure out the billionaire media maven is indeed her sibling? Her son researched Oprah's mother Vernita Lee online after Vernita did an interview about her kids:

Patricia said she saw Lee in a TV interview discussing her three acknowledged children and began to put the pieces together.

Her son, Andre, went online and found the birthdates of Patricia's siblings, including Winfrey. "We realized that Oprah could be my sister," Patricia said. That was in 2007. Lee and Patricia both still live in Milwaukee.

Patricia kept her connection to Winfrey a secret because she worried it would create a media frenzy. "I did not want her hurt," Patricia said.

What happened to Oprah's Baby

What happened to Oprah's Baby - Vernita Lee, Oprah's mother, gave Patricia up for adoption in 1963, but kept her a secret from her daughter. Oprah was eight years old and living with her father when her mother had the baby. She said she never even knew Vernita was pregnant. ..... This is a really complicated situation that could have easily been the worst thing that happened to Oprah and her family. Instead, because of the way it was handled, it turned out to be something special.

Oprah and Patricia were publicly reunited on Monday's show. Oprah showed video of her and her partner, Steadman Graham, driving to Milwaukee to meet Patricia for the first time on Thanksgiving Day last year.

Patricia said she started thinking that Oprah might be her sister when she saw an interview with Vernita Lee on television. The information Lee gave coincided with what she knew about her birth family.

She tried to track down her birth mother, but was told by the adoption that the mother did not want to get in touch with her. But Patricia did manage to track down Oprah's niece, and DNA tests confirmed that they were related. This led to Oprah confronting her mother, who confirmed that Patricia was indeed her half sister. Vernita Lee also appeared on Monday's show.

Oprah pregnant at 14: you hear that and then you hear that she has a big secret that she is going to reveal, and many wondered if perhaps her baby was still alive and Oprah’s family secret was going to be that she has a child.

So, for the secret to be that she has a half-sister that her mother gave up for adoption does quite live up to the anticipation that was built up around Oprah’s secret.

Vernita Lee, Oprah’s mother, gave up Oprah’s sister Patricia for adoption while Oprah was living with her father, Vernon Winfrey. While it is a secret revealed, I don’t think it lived up to the hype.

World Star Hip-hop: 50 Cent

World Star Hip-hop: 50 Cent - Earlier today, fans of World star hip-hop freaked out, and detractors celebrated when the site’s normal load of “sponsored” rap videos, pregnant hooker fights, and dubious view counts did not show up as normal. Soon after wards, 50 Cent claimed responsibility. at soon after wards, he came clean with a call-in to Angie Martinez….

Audio: 50 Cent talks to Angie Martinez, Hot97….about the current site problems of Worldstar Hip Hop, and admits that contrary to his twitter-boasts, he didn’t actually shut down WSHH. But he does explain the tension between him and Worldstar is caused by an ongoing lawsuit. Fif says WSHH used his likeness on their site banner without permission and he thinks they promote negativity….which he says he’s no longer a fan of.

UPDATE: Q the owner of Worldstar also called in to respond to 50 Cent, and told Angie that the site’s problem has nothing to do with 50 Cent, the ongoing lawsuit, or the recent ICE takedowns of blogs. It’s a problem with his server. (now according to others, the problem may be a “level-5 take down” by Yahoo. As in, a complaint from someone to Yahoo about a copyright infringement that then resulted in a freeze. *shrug*) Either way, it should have been apparent that this was not the same as the previous ICE seizures, because going to WSHH did not redirect you to a sign from the Federal government.

Steve Harvey ex-wife Mary Harvey

Steve Harvey ex-wife Mary Harvey - Posted three videos this weekend in which she went on the attack, calling her former spouse a habitual cheater, who took their son Wynton and left her with nothing.

In one of the videos (posted below), Mary Harvey claims, “He took my Wynton from me; he turned my son against me; had me evicted; thrown out.”

The former Mrs. Harvey says the comedian, who’s written books on relationships, including “Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man,” was a serial cheater who had an affair with Marjorie Bridges while they were still married.

Steve Harvey and Mary Harvey divorced in 2005, and then two years later the “Family Feud” host wed Bridges.

Harvey’s attorney, Bobbie Edmonds, calls Mary’s allegations, “False, misleading, derogatory, disparaging, malicious, explicit and slanderous,” and notes that there are court orders prohibiting both parties from “discussing and releasing information [about their divorce] on the Internet and to the media. We are taking the necessary legal steps to rectify this matter to the full extent of the law.”

Mary Harvey says she’s only speaking now because her ex-husband recently sued her, alleging she was “responsible when Oprah did not give him a TV show.”

She also claims she’s being vocal because her name keeps popping up in stories about her famous ex. “To keep seeing my name referenced when talking about his life – that part of it, I don’t understand,” she says.
