David Nelson Dies - David Nelson Dies At 74, a co-star of his parents’ classic show “The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet,” was a familiar part of the childhood of many TV viewers. Nelson, who reportedly had been battling complications related to colon cancer, passed away Tuesday at his home in Century City, Calif., at the age of 74.

On the family show “Ozzie and Harriet,” Nelson played the older brother, and, when he grew up, often directed episodes of the show. He was the last surviving cast member of the program, which aired on ABC from 1952-66. He also appeared in such films as “Peyton Place” and “The Big Circus.”

Hendrik Coetzee presumed dead

Hendrik Coetzee presumed dead - An acclaimed South African outdoorsman who was leading a kayaking expedition from the source of the White Nile into Congo was dragged from his craft by a crocodile as two Americans watched, horrified. The guide is presumed dead.

The two Americans paddled to safety after the Tuesday morning attack on the Lukuga River in Congo. The International Rescue Committee helped evacuate the Americans to a nearby town after the attack, said Ciaran Donnelly, the organization's regional director in the Central African country.

The body of 35-year-old Hendrik Coetzee, who was living in Uganda, has not been recovered.

Marie Osmond Son's Death

Marie Osmond son's death is apparently suicide but investigations are still underway. Michael Blosil was 18 years old and he was one of the five adopted by Osmond and former husband Brian Blosil before the couple divorced in 2007. Here is Osmond's statement about the death of Michael:

There are no details yet as to the method of suicide that was used, all that is known is that at 9:30 PM last night someone called 911, apparently someone has fallen.

Osmond has a scheduled show in Las Vegas but it is now cancelled because of the death of her son.
